As a Los Angeles County-based Registered Legal Document Assistant, I believe that legal paperwork is more than just a filing—it is the blueprint for a person’s next chapter. My practice is built on the standard of high-level professional care, ensuring that every document is prepared with technical precision.

However, I know that behind every case is a human story. My background as a non-lawyer legal professional and a creative advocate allows me a unique perspective. Below, you will find how these two worlds—professional legal document support and creative advocacy—work together to provide a path forward that is both secure and empowering.

"Who Made It Be That Way"

The Foundation of My Work

I focus on family law because I understand the importance of these issues. I know that legal paperwork isn't just paper—it’s a step toward safety, clarity, and a new beginning. My work is informed by a "human-first" perspective. Beyond the paperwork, I am a songwriter and creator dedicated to the healing power of the arts. Explore my music and multimedia projects on this page to see how my personal journey drives the dedicated, trauma-informed support I provide to every client.

An Open Door Policy

This song is about being open to the "new and different." In family law, "new" can sometimes be terrifying. I strive to make legal document preparation manageable, simply a necessary step to move forward. The lyrics explore the quiet power of a simple, welcoming gesture to help transform the situation. This song is a reminder that every person we meet—especially in times of transition—is carrying a hidden story, as well as encouragement to open oneself to positive change.

Life's "flying cows" and "falling trees" require a steady hand. My two decades+ of experience as a paralegal assisting family law attorneys allows me to navigate the complex procedural storms as an LDA so you don't have to face them alone.

Steering Clear of Falling Trees
What is an LDA? (The Distinction)

Just like the "Non-Legal Advice" booth in the "Evicted" comic, there is a clear line in my work. I am a:

• Registered and Bonded Legal Document Assistant – I provide high-level, technical document preparation with over 25 years of paralegal experience in Los Angeles County.

• Document Preparer (Not an Attorney) – I do not provide legal strategy or advice. By focusing strictly on document preparation, I provide a high-value service that keeps your costs down and your paperwork accurate.

• Certified Trauma-Informed Care – I have completed a 40-Hour Domestic Violence Peer Counseling Advocate training, as well as a course in the Fundamentals of Trauma-Informed Care to ensure a safe, empowering process for every client.

Your next chapter begins with a single step.

If you are ready to move forward in your family law matter, let's ensure your documents are prepared with the care and attention they require.

Professional Service. Human Perspective.
